On Thursday, the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated on his social media platform, Truth Social, that certain stocks and the NASDAQ index had reached a new historical high. He also referred, in particular, to the explosive growth of the encrypted currency market, claiming that its prices were “breaking through the sky” and creating a new record.
The rise in the market and the surge in bitcoin have led Trump to boast about the effects of his policies.
Both the Standard 500 index and the NASDAQ index are at record highs, while the encrypted currency market is on fire — with bitcoin climbing to a peak of $113,879 per piece. The rise in the market gave Trump a chance to show off his political performance, claiming that under his leadership the United States was flourishing.

Trump wrote on Truth Social: "Technology, industry and NASDAQ have all made the highest record in history! The encrypted currency `breaks the sky'." He added: “Since the Trump tariff was imposed, the share price of Inweida has risen by 47 per cent. The United States received tens of billions of dollars from customs duties. The country is now back. This is a great achievement! The Fed should rapidly lower interest rates to reflect this strong momentum. The United States should be at the top of the list, with no inflation.”
Trump attacked Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell again.
Trump has repeatedly expressed his dissatisfaction with the United States Central Bank this year, in particular with the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, Jerome Powell. After praising the market, he again criticized Powell as “too late”. In another Truth Social post, published at 10.37 a.m., Trump wrote, “It's too late” to devalue America's great credibility. Once again, we are the world's number one credit country! Federal fund interest rates should reflect this. We should be at the top of the list!
For a long time, Trump has been happy to attribute the success of the market to his own leadership, and he will not miss the opportunity to boast whenever the data is high. Thursday is no exception — stock markets soar, bitcoin soar, Trump makes sure everyone knows who he thinks deserves it.
