The President of the United States, Trump, responded to the family's income from encryption operations by stating that there was “no problem” and that there were no violations. Previous disclosures revealed that he had declared at least $1.4 billion in encryption-related revenues in 2025, a very rare scale in American politics.
Disclosure documents list three main sources
According to the United States Government's ethical disclosure document released this week, Trump has become one of the most encrypted politicians in American politics. The main sources of income listed in the document are concentrated on three projects related to their individual brand and family business.
- About $636 million from its same name as Meme
- About $594 million from World Liberty Financial
- Nearly $197 million from a stable currency operation
Among them, World Liberty Financial was created by Trump together with his two sons. For its part, the stabilization currency operation was associated with Sheikh Tahnon bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
Trump says he's not in the day-to-day business.
In an interview with CNBC at the White House, Trump said that he “may know something, but does not really know the size of the hold. At the same time, he stressed that he had not committed any illegal acts and that the aim was to push the United States to remain in the lead in the encryption industry.
Before returning to the White House, Trump had entrusted the day-to-day operation of the company to two eldest sons, but had not sold the assets. This means that, although he does not directly manage the business, his family maintains an interest in the relevant encryption project.
Conflict of interest challenges continue to ferment
Critics argue that the dispute is not about the legitimacy of the project itself, but that while the Trump Government is developing rules for the encryption industry, its family has also received significant gains from the industry. This has further heightened external concerns about conflicts of interest.
It was also mentioned that, even if the overall performance of the encryption market was weak in the first half of the year, the scale of the related revenues was considerable. Bitcoin has clearly fallen since last October, when it reached a high point of over $126,000, but this has not changed the Trump family's book gain on encryption.
This incident has re-engineered the United States encrypted regulatory discussions with the personal interests of the President, and the ensuing debate over ethical review, policy independence and family business arrangements is expected to continue.
