Franklin Templeton, Bitwise, Canary Capital, 21 Shares and Coin Shares have launched five XRP Exchange Trading Funds (ETFs) on the United States Deposit and Settlement Corporation (DTCC) list, which bodes well for the possibility that these funds will be launched in the United States for the first time later this month. The five funds are: Franklin XRP Trust (XRPZ), 21 Shares XRP ETF (TOXR), Bitwise XRP ETF (XRP), Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) and Coin Shares XRP ETF (XRPL).

The CEO of Canary Capital, Steven McLage, stated at the Ripple Swell meeting in 2025 that following the successful launch of Litecoin and Hedera ETF, the company planned to launch its XRPC fund next week. He further explained that by using the no-delayed amendment, the XRP ETF of Canary could enter into force within 20 days.

As more and more issuers move fast, market observers expect that the XRP ETF of WisdomTree will soon join the DTCC competition fund. In addition, Grayscale is seeking to gain market access by converting its existing XRP trust into a spot XRP ETF, which has accumulated approximately $14 million in management assets since its launch last September.

Strong demand from investors

Earlier this year, a number of XRP-related products were available, including the two-fold leverage of Teucrium XRP ETF (XXRP) and ProShares Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP). Of this amount, the XXRP Fund attracted some $306 million in net assets in less than a year, demonstrating market interest in leveraged XRP investments. At the same time, Solana and XRP futures, one of the fastest growing encryption products of the CME group, have greatly benefited from the infrastructure and liquidity improvements established by Bitcoin and previous derivatives from the Taifung, which also reflect increased market participation and the expansion of popular trading strategies to newer digital assets.
