Foreign media: A proposal was made to pledge in the Taifung area, where the certifying officer could transfer some of the pledge income to developers, research teams and security projects. The proposal is still at the research stage and has not yet entered the formal ETA process of improvement.
What about the distribution of the proceeds?
The proposal, known as Validator redirected revence, allows the certifier to redistribute between 0% and 10% of the pledge income. The certifier needs to select both the ratio and the receiving address. This setting will be effective for all certifiers if more than 51% of the certifiers support a higher than 0.
Reasons for supporters
According to the author of the proposal, the development, research and safety of the Etherak have obvious public goods attributes. These shared tools and infrastructure will be used in many projects, with little direct payment. At the current level of pledge, the certifier receives approximately 700,000 ETH awards per year. If 5 to 10 per cent is transferred, there may be between 50,000 and 70,000 ETH flows to ecological support each year, amounting to approximately $120 million at recent prices.

The proposal also lists several risks. One is that the certificationer may form a conspirator, with a majority advantage, to increase the rate of transfer and to direct the funds to a particular group, or even to itself. The second is the inconsistency of rights and responsibilities between the pledge operator and the ETH holder. Many users take part in the pledge through an exchange, a mobile pledge agreement or a professional operator, and the person who actually determines the object of the financing is not necessarily the person bearing the benefit change.

This proposal appears at a time when warming is being discussed under the financial arrangements of the Taifeng. Former members of the ETA Foundation warned that core development could face funding gaps within three to nine months. Instead of continuing to rely on a single foundation or a small number of donors, the new programme would like to see a portion of public expenditure borne directly by the pledge layer.
