The Indian electronic and semiconductor manufacturer tower electronically confirms that a number of weeks ago a network security incident occurred in some of its systems. It is an important supplier of technology such as apples and Tesla. Before the event was exposed, there was a sale at the Hacker Forum of 630 GB data from tower electronics, containing over 20.43 million documents.

Some of the samples examined by TechCrunch show that the document appears to contain a description of the apple supplier ' s specifications, as well as the documentation produced by Tesla. However, the authenticity, source and completeness of the data are still not independently confirmed.

According to the Tata Electronic Spokesperson, the company discovered security incidents in some systems “a few weeks ago” and immediately started the response process. According to the company, the incident did not affect its operations and existing production and operations were not disrupted.

There is no further response from Tata Electronics as to what the leaking data is, how many individuals or institutions are involved, whether customers have been notified and whether customer information, such as apples and Tesla, is leaking.

Reuters previously reported that Tata Electronics had notified some iPhone workers last week about data leaks. It was also mentioned that Apple was investigating the matter and that Tata Electronic had received extortion requests.
