Ethlabs, a not-for-profit organization sponsored by researchers from the former Taifu Foundation, has been announced. The agency is currently focusing on large-scale institutional uplinking needs, with the hope that new scenarios such as the Etherport will be better connected to the growth in use brought about by AI agents.

Supporters include Joe Lubin

Ethlabs is supported financially by Joe Lubin, the co-founder of the Ether Workshop, and by the two publicly held ETH-listed companies BitMine Immpression Technologies and Sharplink. The public list also shows that more than 50 ecological participants have joined as community supporters, covering second-tier networks, wind project institutions and decentrization projects.

Ethlabs indicated that the funding community would not influence the research agenda, but at present there is no disclosure of the specific scale of financing and the funding arrangements.

Founding member from the Foundation Research Team

Public information indicates that the launch team consists of a number of former research members of the Taifung Foundation, who have previously been involved in research in the areas of final identification, expansion and negotiated economy. According to the new agency, it is hoped that the first-line developers will be linked to the bottom-level agreements for research and development to translate real needs into standards and products.

According to its formulation, the long-term objective is to promote the Etherfrog as a clearing house for the global economy, while the initial work will focus more on how institutional users operate on a larger scale on the chain.

When it was set up, it was an ecological discussion. Wen.

A week before Ethlabs went online, Hsiao-Wei Wang, Co-Executive Director of the Etherwood Foundation, had just left. The long-term direction and governance of the Foundation has been the subject of ongoing discussion in the community for some time.

Last month, the former ETA researcher, Dankrad Feist, after leaving the foundation and joining the Stripe-related stabilization currency network, Tempo, stated that a new organization that is more in line with ETH in terms of economic interests could help to promote the development of the ETA. Mr. Joe Lubin and Mr. Tom Lee, President of BitMine, also said that as the institution moves forward, ecology needs to invest more in research and human resources.
