Fairshake, the leading US political action committee for encryption, is investing more money in congressional elections. In the latest initial round, Adrian Boafo, a member of Parliament of the Democratic State of Côte d ' Ivoire, in the State of Maryland, has taken his party ' s nomination and will compete for a seat in the House of Representatives.

Maryland seats were supported by $5.5 million

This election has received attention for the replacement of Senior Member of Parliament, Steny Hoyer. Fairshake supported House candidates in the past at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars, but this time invested approximately $5.5 million in Boafo, which is significantly above its usual level.

In the campaign, Boafo advocated a clearer regulatory environment for a new generation of financial instrument innovators, with an emphasis on consumer protection. He had previously had a record of supporting the encryption of relevant legislation at the state level and had obtained an A-level evaluation of the political questionnaire organized by Stand With Cripto.

This funding also provoked internal criticism within the Democratic Party. Federal Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland accused the election of a huge amount of special interest funds.

Synchronization of New York and Utah

In addition to Maryland, Fairshake continues to advertise for pro-encryptic or friendly candidates in early elections in many states, including New York State Democratic Congressman Ritchie Torres and Utah Republican Congressman Blake Moore.

Just a week earlier, Fairshanke and its associated organizations had also invested about $12 million in the Barry Moore State Senate primaries and helped them win nominations. The results of several consecutive primarys show that the encryption industry is concentrating its political resources on the key seats it has identified.
