The ETA Foundation completed a series of organizational reorganizations that lasted several months and reduced staff size by about 20 per cent. At the same time, the ETH price was back on US$ 1650, and the market sentiment remained cautious.

Foundation reorganization completed

The Foundation stated that the realignment was structured around a new mission and a fund management strategy. Some 54 staff members were affected in multiple teams.

The new architecture is divided into five core blocks: the protocol layer, the access layer, the user layer, the community layer and the institutional layer. There are also two sections for management and operation.

Significant tightening of expenditure plans

Vitalik Buterin, a co-founder of the Taifu, stated on X that the Foundation was promoting stricter expenditure control. The Foundation plans to reduce its annual expenditure from approximately 15 per cent of the current surplus to the long-term target of 5 per cent after 2030.

The Foundation also indicated that the budget would be reduced by about 40 per cent this year. Retrenched staff will receive severance pay and transitional support.

ETH prices are still under pressure.

At the same time as the Foundation disclosed information on the reorganization, ETH increased slightly by about 1 per cent, reporting $1650 above. However, market pressures have not been fully mitigated.

From the four-hour figure, ETH is still below the average of 20, 50 and 100 days. If you break the $1611, the next one could be around $1524.
