The Ether House 2 network, supported by Coinbase, is back in operation. The interruption lasted about two hours, during which time the network stopped and the processing of transactions was suspended. The Base team indicated that the internal nodes were now resynchronized, but that the cause of the accident was still under review.
16:03 UTC First disclosure anomaly
Base was first stated externally at 16:03 UTC as "unhealthy" in the main web block. At 16:52 UTC, the team stated that the problem had been identified and that, at the same time, a number of rehabilitation measures had been advanced. The network then recovered.
This failure affected the normal transaction processing of Base's Internet. As one of the larger two-tier networks of the Taifeng, Base ' s stop opportunities directly affect the interaction of transfers and applications on the chain.
Team says invalid block trigger problem.
In its update, the Base team indicated that the accident was triggered by an invalid block. The team has not yet explained how the invalid block was created, nor has it disclosed whether the problem arose from software deficiencies or other consensus-related failures.
The team also suggested that the economic node operator restart the Base node in order to restore synchronization. Officially, the stability of the network will continue to be monitored and further updated as investigations advance.
This isn't Base's first stop.
The incident was again interrupted by Base in the last year. It was reported that Base had had a downing in August 2025.
Successive problems of availability may trigger market attention to second-tier network stability and transport mechanisms, especially in the case of chain applications and a high reliance on sustained outlay for financial activities.
