Story Protocol was officially renamed Data Network, and the focus of operations shifted from the original intellectual property network to AI training data. The project indicates that the new brand will be built around data sources, processing and validation, with the aim of becoming an AI training data trust.

Data Network says that the exploration of the past year has given the team a clearer view of what needs to be. According to the company, AI Laboratories are close to running out of accessible open Internet data and the remaining data are either more costly or involve legal and compliance risks.
Launch Trace and Kled
This adjustment was accompanied by two new products. One is Trace, a chain-based registration system for AI training data; the second is integration with Kled, an optional human data market. The projecter wishes to complete the data acquisition, processing and validation in the same system.
The token is moved by 1:1
As the brand is changed, the original token IP of Stoy Protocol will also be moved to DATA at 1:1. The projector indicated that the holder did not need additional operations. After the announcement, the DATA price increased once, by about 14 per cent over the past 24 hours, but still about 98 per cent below the historical high last September.
