According to the announcement, on 26 June the company Sharplink received 5,000 ETHs at the current price of approximately $7.85 million. This was the first time since October 2025 that the company had experienced a new ephemeral inflow, with an address marked by Arkham as FalconX, an encrypted broker.

It's still at the top of the open market.

This is a small addition, but it is a new focus for the market on Sharplink’s Etherwood Treasury strategy. According to the data in the paper, Sharplink held approximately 876,285 ETH as at 21 June, with an approximate value of $1.3 billion at recent prices, and remained a warehouse in Taifung, the second largest enterprise on the open market, after Bitmine Immersion.

The chain analyst EmberCN estimates that the average purchase cost for Sharplink is approximately $3609 per item. The unrealized losses were estimated at US$ 17.99 billion at the price of approximately US$ 1555 per ETH as described.

The new transfer took place during the market downturn

When the transfer took place, the encryption market was experiencing a general fall. The report mentions that ETH fell by about 5 per cent in 24 hours, broke at one point by $1560 and that bitcoin also briefly lost $59,000.

The last increase in Sharplink occurred in October 2025, when the company purchased 19,270 ETHs at a cost of approximately US$ 78.3 million. At current prices, the hold-up was also in a marked deficit.

  • Inflow: 5,000 ETH
  • Source of transfer: FalconX
  • Last inflow: October 2025

The company continues to advance the Etherwood strategy.

While currency prices continue to weaken, Sharplink continues to deepen its input into the Etherak ecology. The company changed its name from SharpLink Gaming to Sharplink in February this year and expanded to more chain-based revenue strategies beyond the basic pledge.

On the financial side, the company received $12.1 million in a quarter, up from $742 million during the same period of the previous year. At the same time, Sharplink was involved in supporting Ethlabs. Launched by the researcher of the former Taifung Foundation, the goal is to promote a better service to the users of the organization through the Taifung network, involving also Bitmine and Joe Lubin, co-founder of the Taifung and Chairman of the Sharplink Board.

Additional information:As at the time of the publication of the report, the transfer had not been publicly confirmed by Sharplink and CoinDesk stated that it had sought comments from the company.
