As the demand for related investment in the 2026 World Cup warms, market transactions are projected to be rapidly released. For the first time, trade week trades rose to $14.5 billion, and the size of the unsettled bets rose for the third consecutive week, synchronizing with renewed competition between platforms.

Kalshi helped raise the profile.

Kalshi worked with ADI Predictstream on Friday, and the latter had official cooperation with the FIFA World Cup project. This collaboration has allowed Kalshi to enter the World Cup-related scene, and also reflects the increased reach of the projected market platform with large sports events.

Andressen Horowitz quoted Artemis as saying that last week the market was projected to be on a par of $1.6 billion, updating its historical record. This is also the third consecutive week that the indicator has risen and reached a new high.

The volume of weekly transactions rose to $14.5 billion.

The same data also show that for the first time in the past week, the projected market week volume reached $14.5 billion. The demand for sporting events is considered to be the main driving force behind the recent convergence, with the World Cup becoming one of the most visible entry points.

According to Artemis, Kalshi last week accounted for 62 per cent of the projected total market transactions, and Polymucket for 28 per cent. In terms of share, Kalshi is now at the forefront of sports-related transactions.

Draft Kings and Rotha follow up the expansion.

In addition to Kalshi, other companies are accelerating their deployment. Draft Kings announced the launch of its own forecast market, DKeX, on Friday, and indicated that under the flag the Draft Kings Products products are expected to continue to grow in the coming month due to increased interest in the World Cup.

There is also a significant ration of the Robinhood platform. According to Artemis data, the weekly trade volume of this trading platform has increased from $2.1 million to $805 million since Robinhood started directing part of the bet to Rotha in late May.
