The Cardano ecology has made many advances over the past week, covering expansion, developer funding, DeFi push and wallet security incidents. However, the news has not yet been translated into a clear reaction to the price of tokens, and the ADA has remained in small decline for almost 24 hours.

The Leos grid has been activated.

Cardano went online on June 23rd on the Leos public testing network. This is a technology update that has received more attention in recent years, with the goal of preparing for a subsequent expansion. As disclosed by the project, Leios is expected to increase the capacity of the network to 65 times its current level.

The testing network, named Musashi Dojo, will be deployed in five phases, namely, Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Void, and will gradually complete design validation, stress testing and confrontational testing and advance the main online line. At this stage, the port pool operator can deploy block production nodes in support of Leos and developers can test DApp, wallet and infrastructure compatibility in advance.

The target date for the main web fort is November 2026.

RealFi and Catalest will advance in July and August

Input Output Global (IOG) indicated that the first phase of the RealFi testing network would be launched on 6 July. At the same time, Project Catalyst, a Cardano community-funded project, will be restarted in August with a new funding pool of 2 million ADAs.

  • Eco-integrated Pyth, Brale etc.
  • Stable and programmable tokens
  • Linked Identity Related Applications

This round of funding will give priority to projects in the above-mentioned direction, showing that Cardano is still investing resources in developers and ecological construction on a continuous basis to facilitate subsequent application.

AlphaGrowth proposes 120 million ADA DeFi

AlphaGrowth published a proposal called PRIME to speed up the adoption of DeFi on Cardano. It is envisaged that the project will apply to the Cardano Treasury for 120 million ADA funds.

AlphaGrowth states that it has previously been involved in ecological-related work such as Compund, Uniswap and Arbitrum and has expressed support for the total lock value of over $1 billion. The current disclosure is primarily in the direction of the proposal, and the support of the Treasury remains dependent on the subsequent governance process.

SecondFi loopholes cause concern

Another matter of interest last week came from the use of SecondFi in the wallet. The project was previously named Yoroi Wallet. Reports indicate that a loophole led to the theft of about 16 million ADAs.

SecondFi indicated that full payment would be made to affected users and advised users to follow up with updates through official channels. Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, also responded that the problem did not relate to the Cardano block chain bottom agreement and that the network itself, the password design and the core infrastructure had not been affected, which was a single-application security event.

Despite ecological incisiveness, the ADA price performance remains weak. At the time of the release of the report, ADA reported 0.1439, falling 0.8 per cent within 24 hours.
