Bitget launched a long-term education programme for encrypted users in an attempt to supplement traditional financial knowledge. The company disclosed that the new project, TradeFi 101, focused on the way traditional markets operate and the context in which digital assets converged with traditional finance.
Courses were organized around multi-asset markets
According to Bitget, the package is primarily aimed at encrypted primary users and helps them understand the main factors affecting traditional markets, including interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, capital flows and macro-trends.
The project not only discusses encrypted assets, but also describes the underlying logic of asset classes such as stocks, commodities, ETFs and helps users understand the linkages between different markets. Bitget argues that, with the expansion of monetized assets, the market reach of investors is growing and the importance of relevant basic knowledge is increasing.
Six modules covering basic knowledge
As disclosed, TradFi 101 uses a modular curriculum structure, divided into six parts, which is complemented by weekly updates of educational content, community interaction and testing.
- Financial base and major asset classes globally
- Market functioning mechanisms and macroeconomic variables
- Trade psychology, risk management and market integration
Bitget stated that the last segment would focus on the trend towards the gradual integration of traditional finance and digital assets and discuss changes in the same investment environment in which both types of assets coexist.
Bitget introduces external partners
Bitget indicated that the project would be carried forward in an open format, with plans to work with a wider range of financial ecological players, including trading platforms, research institutions, educators, media and content creators.
Agencies currently involved or invited include Coin Bureau, CoinGecko and TradingView, and will continue to include more partners.
Bitget also introduces its own Universal Exchange model. According to the company, the platform currently provides more than 2 million encrypted tokens, as well as more than 10,000 United States-owned and more than 500 monetized shares, and covers products such as ETF, commodities, foreign exchange and precious metals.
Chief Executive Officer Bitget Gracie Chen stated that traders are now concerned more than just a single asset class, and that interest rates, inflation, equities, commodities and global liquidity factors can influence the performance of encrypted markets. She stated that the goal of TradFi 101 was to make relevant knowledge more accessible and to help users adapt to the market environment where traditional and digital assets paralleled them.
