Acti, Singapore ' s original company, published an AI keyboard for iOS and Android, trying to put AI agents directly into the user ' s most common entry point. Unlike common input laws, this product not only completes text, but also performs some of its operations directly in chatting, mail and social applications.
Just embedding chat and email scenes
The idea of Acti is not to let the user open another independent chat robot, but to embed the AI function in the current application interface. When a user refers to a nearby restaurant in a conversation, the keyboard can give a direct recommendation; if a stock appears in the chat, it can also insert real-time price information on the spot and reduce the number of round-trips between different applications.
The founder and CEO Young Wang indicates that a major limitation of the current AI tool is that the user context is dispersed in different applications and is difficult to use continuously. Acti hopes to connect the use scene across the application through a single entry on the keyboard.
Use Gemini model
The Acti base uses the Google Gemini model. According to the company, the model was selected primarily for response speed, multilingualism, stability and cost.
A core function of the product is called Skills, which is similar to a custom-defined shortcut. A user can set a key as a trigger entry for a multi-step task, for example, to translate messages directly long-lettered " T " or to send a link to the meeting quickly through the letter "C ".
Supports the creation of natural languages
Acti indicates that the user does not need a program to create Skills, but simply describes the tasks that it wants to do in a natural language, and the system automatically generates the corresponding operation. According to the company, less than two weeks before the test users were officially online, more than 1,000 Skills were created.
Locally prioritize privacy data
In privacy design, Acti uses a local priority model. According to the company, the user ' s personal context is implicitly kept at the end of the device and is not used to access or store private messages, conversations or personal context unless the user voluntarily calls for functions that require external processing.
With regard to the business model, Acti is still in the process of being refined, with a follow-up plan to provide paid users with more advanced models, higher daily usage and other high-level features through subscription fees.
