Phantom is continuing to extend its business focus to the transactional end. The company has recruited Alvin Hsia, Emily Hsia and Aris Samad from the Ventuals team. Ventuals had previously launched the OpenAI and Anthropic sustainable contract market on Hyperliquid and closed the product earlier this week.

Team joins transaction and data department

Phantom CEO Brandon Millman indicated that the three above-mentioned individuals would join the company ' s trading and data team. The recruitment took place after Ventuals announced the cessation of existing projects. Earlier this month, the project stated that it would be closed and transferred to another project in Hyperliquid ecology.

Ventuals was one of the more interesting market experiments on Hyperliquid, trying to move the private company valuation transaction to the chain. With the closure of the project, the team moved to Phantom, which also showed that capacity was being concentrated on more mature platforms.

Phantom continues to bet on the last product.

Phantom is well known for hosting wallets, but has been extended to convert, pledge and derivatives in recent times. With increased competition for wallet products, more and more platforms are looking to move from asset storage to more complete financial applications.

Millman states that the opening of markets has become a priority for Phantom and that the company has invested more in the renewal of the contract and will continue to do so. He also stated that Phantom had become the largest distribution partner in the Hyperliquid ecology and planned to further strengthen the distribution of the contract for durability.

The contract goes from encryption to the wider market.

The contract of durability, originally a primary product of the encryption industry, has become one of the more rapidly growing derivative categories. Such products do not have fixed maturity dates, are traded for longer periods of time and are more liquid and are used extensively to track changes in the prices of different assets.

The application of such products is also expanding beyond digital assets. It was mentioned that the forecast market operator Kalshi, after obtaining regulatory approval, had also launched his own sustainable contract business last month, showing that round-the-clock derivatives trade was attracting more platforms.

For Phantom, the recruitment was not only a team effort but also reflected the continuing narrowing of the border between wallets, transactions and chain mobility.
