Open Source AI Agent OpenClaw has been online iOS and Android. The project discloses this progress through X on Tuesday, which means that users can directly call the agent on the mobile phone and move beyond the desktop environment.
Connecting with the Gateway Agent
According to the project participants, both applications need to be paired with OpenClaw Gateway. This component corresponds to a route system to connect user requests to AI agents and to the tools and skills they need to call when they perform their tasks.
This means that the user can start a mission on the mobile device and hand over the process to the configured agent. The article mentions that the use of OpenClaw includes programming, food planning, etc., but the actual effect still depends on the design and quality of the agent itself.
Move-end extension use scene
