An independent not-for-profit institution called Etheleum Institutual has been officially launched with the objective of promoting the adoption of the Ethera and its Layer2 network. The Agency hopes to provide a neutral interface window for banks, regulators and large enterprises to help them assess the monetization, currency stabilization and chain financial infrastructure.
Provision of a unified portal to institutions
According to the Agency, an increasing number of financial institutions are assessing which operations are being relocated to the chain, including monetizing assets, stabilizing currency settlements and chain markets. The long-term emphasis on neutrality in the ETA ecosystem has also led to a lack of clear communication between some enterprises in their ecological exposure.
The location of Etheum Institute is to provide such institutions with an independent entry point to reduce the cost of communication when they understand the ecology of the Taipei, the Layer2 network and related financial applications.
The Foundation recovers core protocol functions
At the time of the establishment of this institution, the ETA Foundation was moving further towards a focus on core agreement maintenance. With the Foundation ' s downgrading of outreach functions, more independent organizations are beginning to emerge in the ecology, with separate responsibilities for R & D, developer support, business outreach and institutional communication.
It is mentioned that independent EthLabs-like organizations are also taking over some ecological functions. This change is also related to the recent restructuring of the Foundation, including the restructuring of the leadership and the long-standing calls by communities for greater transparency.
Supported by Bitmine and SharpLink
It is led by David Walsh, Marius Smith and Matthew Dawson. Walsh was previously responsible for the business-related work of the Etherak Foundation. According to the Agency, team experience covers institutional cooperation, capital markets and eco-building in the Ether.
- Focus includes institutional communication and business outreach
- It will also cover market intelligence, industry research and activities
- The range of services is Ether, Layer2 and eco-application.
The Ethereum Informational states that the start-up phase has been supported by Bitmine, SharpLink Gaming, NASDAQ, and Joseph Lubin, a co-founder of the ETA, and that more institutional and individual supporters are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
