Google expands the AI assistant under the flag to Mac, and integrates the existing Gemini desktop application. As the desktop end goes online, the product begins to compete more directly with similar tools such as Claude Desktop and Microsoft Copilot.

Upon updating, Gemini Spark will have access to computer files on Mac, and will support the processing of remote tasks.
