Robinwood is expanding its institutional derivatives business coverage. The most up-to-date multi-asset-for-life contract is operated on the Bitstamp platform, where institutional clients can trade encrypted assets, foreign exchange, equity fingers and bulk commodities under the same system of accounts.
Single-dollar account transactions
This product is in United States dollars and supports the harmonization of collateral management. For institutional traders, this means that the long-term contractual slots for different asset classes can be managed in the same account without the need for separate systems of independent bonds.
- Supporting encryption, foreign exchange, equity and commodity transactions
- Introduction of a unified collateral to manage multiple types of warehousing
- Cross-assets entry for institutional clients
The first contracts covered foreign exchange and goods.
The first toplines included EUR/USD, QQQ, EWY, gold, silver, WTI crude and Brent crude. Product design clearly points to cross-market allocation and hedge demand, and is not limited to a single encrypted derivative trade.
The pricing and compliance framework was disclosed
These contracts are priced on the basis of Kaiko Benchmark Indices, while the coupling system uses NASDAQ-supported technology. The platform operates under a European derivatives trading site authorized by MiFID II, showing that Robinwood is expanding its institutional-level trading services through Bitstamp.
