AMD disclosed in its submission to the United States Securities Commission that a $36 million equity incentive would be awarded to CEO Sozifung on 15 August 2026 under the Company's 2023 Equity Incentive Scheme. Several core management are also included in the award arrangements for this round.
Multiple executives synchronized with equity
In addition to Suzie, the Chief Technical Officer, Mark PaperSmart, will receive $10 million in equity awards, the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Jean Hu, will receive $9 million, the Head of Data Centre Solutions Sales, Forrest Norod, will receive $8 million, and the President of EEMEA, Darren Grasby, will receive $7.5 million.
This disclosure indicates that AMD continues to bind core management teams through equity incentives. The arrangements also correspond to the company ' s performance in the last year.
AI demand drives performance growth
AMD continues to benefit from the AI boom this year, especially the rising demand for GPU operations. The report mentions a 38 per cent increase in the company ' s first financial season, reaching $10.25 billion, higher than market expectations.
Stock prices are equally strong. Since the beginning of the year, AMD has accumulated an increase of more than 150 per cent, one of the main beneficiaries of the current round of AI chips. Many Wall Street agencies have also recently raised their target prices.
- The Bank of Rich Countries raised the AMD target price from $505 to $615.
- Cantor Fitzgerald's target price is $700.
The stock price drops.
Although the market remained optimistic about corporate follow-up performance, AMD stock prices were adjusted on 1 July, when they fell by 6.89 per cent, corresponding to 40.03 dollars. The share price in the pre-asset transactions fell by 1.19 per cent, corresponding to $6.46.
Reports suggest that this fall may be linked to the settlement of some of the gains. At the same time, the science and technology unit as a whole is weak, and fluctuations in semiconductor plates in the United States have been transmitted to Asian markets. Korea's KOSPI fell sharply that day and SK Hercules and Samsung technology shares were under pressure.
