Bitget revealed in its mid-year update that the company was expanding its long-term direction from a single encrypted transaction to an integrated platform covering more asset classes. According to the company, the focus in the future will be on monetization, AI tools and cross-market access, with the aim of placing products such as encryption, stocks and gold in the same set of entry points.

User holder began to spread across the market

The company disclosed that in the first half of 2026 about 52 per cent of Bitget users held both encrypted assets and shares, and that a further 35 per cent were equipped with gold or other precious metals. The Platform also indicated that more than half of users had used an AI-driven transaction tool.

This change was seen by Bitget as a signal of a shift in user demand. The company believes that investors no longer focus solely on a single market, but rather want to complete multiple asset allocation and transactions within a single platform.

Platform target moving towards a single trading entrance

Bitget CEO Grace Chen states that the company's current objective has shifted from an encrypted exchange to a “general financial platform”. According to her, the next four priorities of the Platform included improving the efficiency of the use of funds, providing global investment opportunities in a encrypted form, expanding market access through monetized assets and Pre-IPO products, and simplifying transaction processes with AI automation.

According to the company, users now have access to products such as encrypted assets, stocks, price differential contracts and gold on the platform and are trying to keep the funds running for longer periods of time.

The monetization and AI are listed as two main lines.

In that statement, Bitget made monetization one of its long-term priorities. Chen reiterated that monetized assets could represent about 10 per cent of global capital markets in the future. She mentioned that products such as Stock+ and Reality were early attempts in this direction, with the aim of improving investment efficiency and lowering the threshold of participation through block-chain infrastructure.

AI is another main line. Bitget stated that AI ' s use was not limited to market analysis but would further extend to the implementation of investment strategies based on user objectives and risk preferences. The company indicated that after the launch of GetClaw and GetAgent Playbook, the platform had over 1 million AI transaction users and over 1 million single transaction users.

In conclusion, Chen stated that companies wanted to extend investment opportunities further from traditional financial institution systems to allow more users to access global markets through block chains and artificial intelligence.
