The number of clients continues to grow

IQM primarily sells the physical quantum computers and provides cloud computing services. The company ' s clients include the Finnish National Centre for Technology Studies (VTT) and the Lebnitz SuperCalculation Centre in Germany. According to Jan Goetz, its chief executive officer, the company currently sells equipment to the Advanced Supercalculator and Data Centres, as well as calculation time through cloud-end sales.

Quantum advantage is still missing.

However, further expansion of demand in the sector will depend on when “quantitative advantage” actually occurs. That is, quantum chips can significantly outpace traditional computers in a broader, more complex and time-consuming mission.

It was mentioned that once that phase had come, the space for applications in areas such as biotechnology, finance and so on could be significantly expanded, and existing encryption systems could also face new technological pressures. Policies for listing and benefiting from supplementary funds

Capital market investment in quantum companies has not diminished while the technological outlook remains uncertain. It was mentioned that Trump had recently signed an executive order to accelerate quantum technology development and that the United States Department of Energy had subsequently committed itself to deploying the first globally capable and scientifically significant quantum computer by 2028.

This movement is particularly important for IQM. The company has recently established a Quantum Technology Centre in Maryland, United States, and has deployed a Quantum Computer at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory within the United States Department of Energy system. Goetz stated that companies could benefit directly from relevant policies.

IQM will hang in NASDAQ Helsinki. The company expects that the transaction, after cost deduction, will bring about Euro198 million in new liquidity, or $226 million. Last September, the company also completed $300 million in financing.
