The European Financial Science and Technology Platform Revolut will no longer support USDT, and the associated downhill process has started. This is taking place against the backdrop of a continuing change in European requirements for currency stabilization, and the platform is simultaneously adjusting the range of stable currency products available.

The timetable is clear.

Under the platform arrangement, users can continue to buy USDT by 6 July and complete USDT recharge by 30 July. Since then, the user may sell the USDT held by 31 August or transfer to an outside wallet.

  • July 6th.
  • USDT charge completed by 30 July
  • 31 August Available for sale or transfer to outside wallets

Automatic exchange of overdue balances

If the user still holds the USDT after 31 August, the remaining balance will be automatically converted into French at the time exchange rate. At that time, the relevant assets in the account will no longer be retained as USDT.

Platform adjusts the stabilization currency range

This fall shows that European stable currency services for retail users are still adjusting to changing regulatory requirements. For trading platforms and financial science and technology companies, stabilization currency upswing, trading and hosting arrangements are becoming more prudent.
