The SK Hercules stock has risen by about 770 to 800 per cent over the past year, mainly thanks to strong demand for its high bandwidth memory chip for AI hardware. However, recent comments on the slowdown in the growth of part of its AI memory operations have triggered sharp market fluctuations.
Nazdak's prospects for listing
The SK Hercules stock story is one of the biggest success stories in an artificial intelligence boom. The Korean memory chip giant is preparing for a historic listing in NASDAQ, which will radically change the way global investors approach this world’s most important semiconductor company.
The company is expected to raise approximately $29 billion through the United States Depository Certificate (ADR) listing, making it one of the largest overseas listings in United States history. The funds raised will be used to expand the production of advanced memory chips.
Market volatility and investor sentiment
The significant increase in SK Hercules equities was almost entirely due to the explosive growth of artificial intelligence. Over the past 12 months, the company ' s stock has risen by about 77 per cent to 800 per cent, surpassing many of the world ' s largest technology companies and even surpassing the increase in United States-competing light technology over the same period.
However, the enthusiasm of investors has recently been tested. Despite alarming long-term gains, SK Hercules stock experienced a sharp reversal after a record high in June. The company indicated that it planned to slow growth in some parts of its AI memory business, which triggered sales to the Korean stock market.
Additional information:The forthcoming listing of NASDAQ will enable US investors to invest directly in the world ' s most valuable AI infrastructure company without having to purchase shares listed in Korea.
