CryptoQant data show that the XRP scarcity index on the platform has risen to its highest level since mid-2024, reflecting a tightening of the exchange-end tradable supply. At the same time, the prices of the XRP remain close to critical support levels and, if demand continues, supply changes may magnify subsequent fluctuations.

We'll tighten our reserves.

The so-called scarcity index measures mainly changes between supply and market demand of the XRP available on the platform. This rise in the indicator usually means that tokens are more difficult to buy on the exchange, either because the holder continues to transfer the money to a private wallet or because the current billing is digested faster than the additional filling.

Declining exchange reserves are often interpreted by the market as rising medium- and long-term will. Price volatility is often more likely to be amplified if demand does not recede simultaneously.

Prices approaching direction selection

In addition to changes in the supply of exchanges, the market is also concerned about the price band in which the XRP is currently located. The analyst SUNCOAST indicates that XRP has been operating in a condensed form for the past months, that it is now significantly compressed in the volatile range and that prices are being tested upwards.

According to its version, the XRP is still above $1.13. As volatility continues to shrink, markets are waiting for clearer direction signals. If the uplink is effectively breached, the purchases accumulated in the preceding period may be released further and may lead to a backlash.

The Korean market is closed for expansion.

Another signal from the demand side came from the Korean market. The report mentions that XRP has traded more off-the-shelf than bitcoin on a large encrypted trading platform, Upbit, in Korea, more than twice the size of the latter, indicating that local investors are increasingly interested in dealing in the asset.

The CoinCodex data show that the XRP update of $1.14 is still slightly higher than the key supporting positions mentioned above. The focus of current market concerns is whether the tight supply of exchanges, the continued intra-district trade and the increased dynamism of the Korean market will together drive the long-term consolidation of the XRP.
