On 19 June, about 31,000 bitcoin options and 138,000 over the pasta expired, with a nominal value of approximately $2.1 billion. The market then turned its attention to whether price fluctuations would become more pronounced after maturity.
Both Bitcoin and the Ethera were below their respective maximum pain point levels. Bitcoin corresponds to approximately US$ 65,000 and US$ 1,725 in the south-east. The maximum pain point is usually regarded as the most concentrated price for the total loss of the right holder.
It's bigger.
Of the contracts due, bitcoin options were about $1.9 billion, or $230 million, in the case of the overleaf. When maturities are larger, markets tend to pay more attention to short-term fluctuations and position adjustments.
Sales pressure and demand are weak
It was mentioned that institutional pressure and weak demand together suppressed price performance. The expiry of the option itself does not necessarily change the trend, but would magnify the actions of traders in hedge and reprogramming.
We have a quarterly settlement next week.
The market will then focus on next week's quarterly settlement. At that time, about 15 per cent of the unwinding position will expire and may continue to affect volatility and market direction.
