GoMining is pushing bitcoin payments to more businesses. The company released the GoBTC Pay software development toolkit (SDK) and application interface (API), which allows businesses to access the Bitcoin collection function to the daily goods and services scene.
Default delivery to business BTC
This move has led to a more direct competition between GoMining and the Bitcoin payment business under Block Square. Both promote the acceptance of BTC by businesses, but in different ways. The GoMining program implicitly allows businesses to receive bitcoin directly, rather than exchange it for French.
GoMining states that GoBTC Pay transactions will be settled directly on the Bitcoin network. According to the company, the system was built on its Stratum V2 mining agreement, with an average settlement time of approximately 12 hours.
- Business transaction rate is 0.2%.
- Fees are split between purses and miners.
- The first round was introduced to 10 businesses
Square Default for United States dollars
A number of similar services currently allow consumers to pay in bitcoin, but the business has by default received French currency. CoinDesk reports that Square has also advanced its Bitcoin payment service over the past year, mainly through the Bitcoin 2nd floor network Lightning.
In the Square model, the buyer usually implicitly receives the United States dollar and retains the BTC only when it chooses to do so. By contrast, GoMining uses "businesses directly holding bitcoin" as the default. If a business wishes to receive a French currency, it needs to do so itself.
GoMining bets the merchant retained bitcoin.
Chief Executive Officer GoMining Mark Zalan stated that the company wanted to address several long-standing problems with BTC payments, including high fluctuations in handling fees, slow settlement speed, and unstable arrival times, while retaining non-trust and chain-based final settlement features.
As SDK and API go online, businesses and developers can build products and services around GoBTC Pay. GoMining's judgment is that more companies will be willing to collect and retain bitcoin directly in the future, rather than just use BTC as a payment entry.
