Robinhood has not continued to follow Bitcoin's fall in the recent past, suggesting that the market's pricing logic for this retail trading platform is changing. For a long time, Robinhood was often seen as a reflection of encrypted emotions, but in the last month the connection has been significantly weakened.
The stock is no longer tied to bitcoin.
It was reported that since October 2025, the Robinwood stock HOOD had once maintained a high correlation with the Bitcoin movement. But in recent weeks, hoods have begun to deviate from bitcoin's weakness.
As at the time of the issuance of the report, the HOOD interview was US$ 103.25 and the Bitcoin call was US$ 62,710. This fragmentation is of concern because of the large retail user base of Robinwood and the long-term impact of income from encrypted transactions on its valuation.
$2 billion in financing to expand operating space
Robinhood had previously completed a $2 billion, 0 per cent transferable priority paper private fundraising, with a term of 2029. Of this amount, approximately $290 million is planned for the repurchase of general A shares, with an additional $112 million for capped call transactions and the remainder for general business purposes.
These uses include increased investment, potential acquisitions and capital expenditure. This financing has increased the financial flexibility of the company and has also shown that Robinhod is still preparing funds for subsequent expansions after the stock price has broken down by $100.
Forecasting the market and AI to become a new point of view
In addition to traditional stock and encryption transactions, the market is projected to be a new growth direction for Robinwood. The report cites Bernstein's predictions that Robinwood predicts that market revenues could increase from $150 million in 2025 to $586 million in 2026.
The same report also mentioned that World Cup-related events had at one point pushed up the forecast market day trade to $4.8 billion. Robinhood's partner, Rothera, has processed about 200 million contracts since it went online.
In addition, Cantor Fitzgerald, whose target price had previously been increased to $130 for new products, forecast markets, listing activities and the growth support of the regulatory environment. If the share of markets, options, stock exchanges and AI products in corporate growth is projected to continue to rise, the sensitivity of Robinwood stock price against currency fluctuations may decline further.
Encryption remains an important component.
But that doesn't mean Robinhood is fading out of encryption. In June, the company completed the acquisition of $180 million for the Canadian encryption platform WonderFi, thereby gaining access to the local regulated encryption market.
The transaction incorporated Bitbuy and Coinsquare into the Robinhood system and added about 300,000 additional funds to expand its international encryption coverage. Robinhood has also recently continued to be on the platform with new digital assets, including Worldcoin.
Additional information:The encryption business still has an impact on the mood of Robinwood investors. Just earlier this month, the company announced a lay-off of approximately 290 people, in the context of a weak encryption trading activity that had slowed down performance and profit performance for a quarter.
