Empery Digital disclosed that the company had sold 1,400 bitcoins at an average value of $6.22 million each, totalling $8.71 million. The funds will be used to advance an AI data centre project in the central and western parts of the United States, with a consequent repositioning of the company ' s capital.

151 BTC still held

The announcement indicates that Empery Digital still holds 1514 bitcoins after the transaction has been completed. At the same time, however, the company indicated that there were no plans to continue the Bitcoin increase at this stage and that it might continue to sell parts in the future based on other investment opportunities.

Transfer of funds to Mid-West Project

Earlier this month, the company had indicated that about $65 million would be required to complete the 25 per cent clearance of an acquisition group. The group is in the process of acquiring a central and western facility and is planning to transform it into an AI data centre.

According to the company ' s latest version, the proceeds from this sale of bitcoin will be used directly to support the project. The Co-Chair, CEO Ryan Lane, indicated that future companies also planned to continue to allocate capital to similar projects supported by large cloud computing customer needs.

There's a split in the vaults.

Empery Digital was one of the participants in the digital asset bank ' s boom in 2025, when a number of companies quickly entered the market, including through SPAC, using the possession of bitcoin as a central narrative. However, this model is being adjusted as the stock prices of the companies concerned fall significantly.

CoinDesk reported that an increasing number of companies that had set up a Bitcoin reserve in 2025 were turning into a warehouse for sale. This reduction of about half bitcoin by Empery also reflects the fact that some businesses have begun to shift their funds from encrypted treasury to more explicit industrial projects such as AI.

Additional information:Based on this disclosure data, Empery Digital currently sells 1,400 bitcoins, or approximately 48 per cent of its pre-sale warehouse.
