Bitcoin fell to about $62,800 on Monday, a decline of 1.4 per cent in 24 hours. In Asia, the price of bitcoin slipped from about US$ 64,300 to that level during the early pick-up period.
The fall was not driven by new factors. Over the past month, the price of bitcoin has fluctuated between about $59,000 and $66,000, and this fall in Asian time has been one of leverage purges within the zone. According to CoinGlass, the liquidation was small and was only one sixth of the worst in the market over the past 30 days.
Bitcoin, as one of the most risky assets in the encrypted market, is affected by global risk preferences, and analysts point out that about 30 per cent of the pressure originates from capital flows to AI.
The June inflation data will be released on 14 July and the Federal Reserve will meet from 28 to 29 July, two events that may determine whether risk assets (including encrypted currency and chip units) will rebound or continue down.
