Google is adjusting the way Google Images is being used from a simple photo search tool to a more “discovery” and a source of inspiration. The new interface will allow users to save their content as if they were browsing through the board of inspiration and will leave more time to stay in Google ecology.
Collection features are more prominent
When viewing pictures, users can save their ideas in "collections". These collections will be displayed above the main gallery and will continue to be viewed after ease of view. Google, for example, says that users can create different collections such as travel wear, travel inspiration or reading angle design.
Get on the American desktop first.
The revision will be rolled out gradually in the coming weeks, with the first of its kind for United States desktop end-users in English. Google says that users need to log in to the Google account to experience this version.
Generate pictures directly in the search
Google also places the image generation function in the Search 's AI Overviews. According to the company, this function is suitable for scenarios where there is a clear picture in mind but where there is not necessarily an off-the-shelf picture on the Internet. The system calls the latest Nano Banana model and converts text tips to custom pictures.
Additional information:According to Google, this function can also be used to reimagina the effects of space, for example, to see the room painted red, or to imagine the visual appearance of a coastal-style dormitory.
