Dame Pizza announced a restructuring of the board and management. The company expanded its board of directors and added two independent directors, replacing the Chief Independent. The head of technology and data will also leave, and the company has initiated a successor search.
Two additional members of the Board
The company expanded the board of directors from 8 to 10. Chief Executive Officer Michael C. Creedon Jr. and HP Manager Anneliese Olson were appointed as independent directors with effect from 15 July.
Both will join the Board of Auditors. The company stated that the two directors would bring experience in retailing, operation and technology.
Chief independent director replacement
Chief Executive Officer of Best Buy, Cornie S. Barry, was appointed as the new independent Chief Executive Officer with effect from 14 July. Richard L. Feder will no longer hold that post but will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Auditors.
The Chief of Technology will leave.
The company further indicated that the Executive Vice-President and Chief Technical and Data Officer, Kelly E. Garcia, would leave office on 28 August to take other opportunities. Damé has begun to look for successors to maintain continuity in technical and digital operations.
Daméla is one of the largest pizza chains in the world, operating over 22,300 stores in more than 90 international markets. Companies have long relied on take-out, shop-to-shop and digital reservation systems.
