T. Rowe Price, the United States administration of about $1.9 trillion, has launched an active multi-currency spot encrypted ETF, coded TKNZ. Unlike the former single-asset-based spot bitcoin, ETF, this product incorporates multiple encrypted assets into the same portfolio.
Hold hold over multiple mainstream tokens
TKNZ started trading on Thursday. According to the company, the fund holdings include Bitcoin, Ethera, BNB, XRP, Solana and Hyperliquid and other digital assets can be configured.
This means that investors can acquire a basket of encrypted asset exposures through an ETF and no longer be limited to single-currency products.
- Fund code: TKNZ
- Disclosured: BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP, SOL, HIPE
- Management rate: 0.75 per cent by May 2027
Do not track fixed index
Another feature of the fund is its proactive management strategy. The fund manager does not need to track the fixed encryption index mechanically, but can adjust the position to market changes, research judgement and risk assessment.
According to T. Rowe Price, this approach is designed to respond to the rotation of funds between different tokens, so that the portfolio can be adjusted to changes in the main market line.
Compared to Bitcoin and ETF, which have dominated the last two years, such products place more emphasis on configuration flexibility than on single asset tracking.
Traditional management continues to expand encryption. Line
The release also reflects the move of large management agencies from a single-currency product to a more disaggregated and encrypted investment tool. Prior to this month, Belet also launched a product around the design of a spot bitcoin ETF, which benefits from an option strategy.
T. Rowe Price described the company as having built its own digital asset trading infrastructure and working with institutional service providers to support transactions and operating processes prior to the official launch of encryption products.
The Fund is managed jointly by Blue Macellari, head of the company ' s digital assets operations, and four other co-fund managers. Macellari has been responsible for the company ' s digital asset strategy and related research since 2022.
Rate arrangements disclosed
According to the disclosure, TKNZ applied the interim rate reduction of 0.75 per cent of the net management fee until May 2027; the rate would then be increased to 0.90 per cent.
