SpaceX was temporarily suspended after the booster triggered the second Starship V3 launch attempt in southern Texas, United States. This was a back-to-field test that the company advanced within weeks after completing its first launch of Starfleet V3 in May, and the market was quick to follow the impact of this progress on its post-market performance.

Mask says part of the engine is not activated.

Mask wrote on platform X that part of the engine had not been activated and thus triggered the automatic suspension. He indicated that SpaceX planned to try to launch again “in a few days”.

In view of the progress made on the ground, the mission has entered the ignition phase, but the system has not continued to eject. According to Mask, the problem first arose in the engine starter, not in the flight phase after the launch.

Only a few weeks from the first V3 launch.

This is another test of SpaceX after the starship V3 first flight in May. The company would have preferred this to restore the launch rhythm and to continue to verify the state of the upgraded Starship system.

Starships are the core items of SpaceX advanced deep space transport and heavy launch capability. This has led to a high level of external interest in each test node, especially in the conduct of successive launches following system upgrades.

  • Location of launch: Southern Texas Base, United States
  • Mission phase: aborted by booster ignition
  • Next attempt: Mask claims or takes place within days

The first test on the market triggered stock price fluctuations.

This was also the first time SpaceX had been launched since its launch on 12 June. According to reports, SpaceX raised more than $85 billion in this IPO, which at one time touched near the valuation levels of Amazon and Microsoft.

However, post-market stock prices are not stable. On Thursday, during regular trading hours, SpaceX shares are charged below the $135 issue price. After the launch's suspension news came out, the post-launch stock price fell by over 4 per cent, and then it narrowed down.

Additional information:It was reported that the incident was still being updated and SpaceX did not disclose more specific technical reasons.
