The most recent disclosure by BitMine showed that, as at 19 July, the company held a total of $11.5 billion in encrypted assets, cash, marketable securities and other investments. The market is also concerned with the further growth of its pledge business as the Etherak silo continues to expand.
5,78 000 ETHs held
The company disclosed that there were currently 5.78 million ETHs, or 4.8 per cent of the total supply of the Taifeng. Of these, more than 4.9 million ETH have been validated online through its pledge operations.
This means that Bitmine is not only expanding the ETH reserve but is also simultaneously scaling up the pledge operations. For the outside world, follow-up attention will focus on changes in their hold and pledge income performance.
7430 new ETH per week
By company disclosure, the past week has seen an increase of 7430 ETH in BitMine, which has continued the cumulative pace. Continuous buy-in also shows that companies continue to use the Taifung as one of their core assets.
In terms of disclosure calibre, this part of the asset size statistics includes not only encrypted assets but also cash, marketable securities and other investments, so the $11.5 billion reflects the volume of related assets of the company as a whole rather than the market value of a single ETH hold.
Repurchase 5.5 million shares
In addition to ETH, BitMine indicated that it had repurchased 5.5 million shares under the stock buy-back plan. At the same time, the company promoted asset expansion and equity buy-backs, demonstrating its twin-track approach to capital allocation.
- Total asset size: $11.5 billion
- ETH hold: 5.78 million
- ETH: Over 4.9 million
Additional information:The company disclosed that its ETH holdhouse accounted for about 4.8 per cent of the total supply of the Taifeng, making it one of the large enterprise-level currencies of market interest.
