OpenAI replaces CEO and Dali Rajic takes over

OpenAI management continues to adjust. On August 13th, the company announced that the CEO Denise Dresser would leave after the transition and that the former President and Chief Operator of Wiz, Dali Rajic, would take over. This change took place at a time when OpenAI was expanding business and moving forward with listing preparations.

Replacement of the head of business

Dresser joined OpenAI last December to drive growth. She used to be CEO of Slack under Salesforce. The CEO of OpenAI, Greg Brockman, stated that she had led the collection team to the stage of construction at a critical stage of company business development.

Dresser said in LinkedIn the same day that she would leave OpenAI in the coming weeks and turn to new opportunities, but did not disclose the way forward.

High-level adjustments are ongoing

This change in personnel continues the recent top turnover of OpenAI. This Tuesday, former CEO Brad Lightcap has indicated that he will leave the company, while OpenAI also handed over some of his responsibilities to Dresser in April this year.

In addition, OpenAI lost the head of the security system Johannes Heidecke and the chief future scientist Joshua Achiam in July. The application business CEO Fidji Simo was also transferred to the advisory role for health reasons.

Business clients have increased to 2 million.

Rajic previously served as President and Chief Operator of Cloud Security Company Wiz and went through the phase of its acquisition by Google. He also served as executive director in Zscaler and AppDynamics.

OpenAI indicated to Business Insider that during Dresser's tenure, the size of the company's business clients had increased significantly.
