According to Morgan Chase's latest second-quarter hold document, the Wall Street Bank continues to expand its encryption asset ETF configuration. The company disclosed that its Bitcoin ETF holdout was significantly higher than in the first quarter, that the ETF holdout at Taifung was increased even more and that the XRP ETF opening was re-established.
Bitcoin ETF holding to $356 million
The paper shows that the Bétéco ETF IBIT cash held by Morgan Chase has risen to $355.7 million, up from about $162 million in the first quarter. This silo is close to doubling compared to the previous one, indicating that it continues to increase its bitcoin-related configuration through regulated products.
In addition to the current ETF hold, Morgan Chase has changed its position on IBIT-related options. It has increased to about 3.94 million, while the decline has declined from 4.75 million in the first quarter to about 3.5 million, more in the overall direction than before.
ETF is growing faster.
Morgan Chase also significantly increased Ether's ETF holdout in the second quarter. The paper showed that the bank-related holding had increased by 338 per cent to approximately $14.3 million.
However, in absolute terms, bitcoin remains the main configuration direction. According to the disclosed data, the size of IBIT hold is still significantly higher than its ETF hold, which is more than 20 times greater.
Recreate XRP ETF convertible
In addition to bitcoin and the Ether House, Morgan Chase regained XRP exposure through ETF. The file shows that the bank held approximately $1356 in Bitwise XRP ETF and $3763 in Grayscale XRP ETF.
This means Morgan Chase is back on XRP-related products in the second quarter. Despite the small size of the present, the associated configuration changes in large-scale bank disclosures remain a market concern.
In the United States, current bitcoin ETF flows have fluctuated in the recent past. The report mentions a net outflow of $131.1 million in real bitcoin ETF in the United States on August 13, compared to $61.16 million in the previous day. In this context, Morgan Chase continues to expand its Bitcoin ETF holdout, showing that some institutions are still maintaining encrypted asset exposures through the ETF tool.
Additional information:The next 13F document is expected to be released in November, at which point the market will see whether Morgan Chase will continue to hold more bitcoin, Ether and XRP-related ETFs for the third quarter.
