IA programming start-up firm Cursor has been formally integrated into SpaceX. Cursor announced in the company’s blog that the deal was complete and that it would be added to SpaceX’s larger computing infrastructure.
April to work together and then move forward with the acquisition
This deal was first disclosed in April this year. On the other hand, SpaceX and Cursor indicated that they would jointly develop the relevant technology, and that the agreement would give SpaceX the option to buy Cursor at $60 billion.
Two months later, with SpaceX becoming a listed company, both sides indicated that they would continue to pursue the acquisition. Today, the transaction is officially completed.

In announcing the completion of the transaction, Cursor made several references to SpaceX ' s computing infrastructure. According to the original version, SpaceX currently also rents computing resources from external clients, including Anthropic and Google.
Cursor states that when it becomes part of SpaceX, the company will be supported by one of the largest GPU clusters in the world. It goes on to say that this will give Cursor access to “the world's largest GPU fleet”.
SpaceX continues to expand AI layout
From the trading context, SpaceX is integrating rocket, off-satellite computing capacity-building into a larger business map. The article also mentioned that SpaceX had acquired the Mask flag XAI earlier this year.
In its bulletin, Cursor states that SpaceX is building larger computing capabilities to support higher levels of smart system expansion, and Cursor will be one of the scenes where these capabilities will be applied.
