Ethlabs publishes Hegotá Upgrading Recommendations calling on core developers to give priority to boosting anti-censorship, faster outbursts, original accounts abstract, and continuing to upgrade Layer 1 capacity. As the next upgrade after Glamsterdam, Hegotá's functional scope is still in decline.
FOCIL is on schedule.
In the sort given by Ethlabs, FOCIL remains the only currently scheduled feature of Hegotá. The programme enhances the network ' s ability to resist censorship by reducing the space for professional block builders to exclude effective transactions through inclusion lists created by the certifying officers.
In accordance with existing norms, the certifying officer only supports blocks that satisfy the relevant listing conditions. Ethlabs gives the highest priority to this function.
Quick Slots aimed to get out faster.
Ethlabs also placed EIP-8198 “Quick Slots” at the top of its priorities, suggesting that Hegotá should start pushing the Taifeng to move away from the current 12-second slot time. At this stage, the proposal uses 8 seconds as a placeholder, but the final target has not yet been set.
Ethlabs believes that the Ether House can first reduce the slot time to about 10 seconds in the Hegotá cycle. However, it remains a forward-looking proposal and is not a formal parameter on which the developers have agreed. If you continue to keep each epoch 32 slots, slots down, the epoch duration and final confirmation time will decline.
The accounts advance in parallel with the expansion
In the abstract direction of the account, Ethlabs assigns EIP-8141 “Frame Transports” to the second priority and regards it as the abstract preferred path of the original account. The proposal allows for the control of transactions through EVM codes and gas payments, which support more flexible identification, proxy transactions, bulk processing and alternative signature mechanisms.
Ethlabs places EIP-8131 and EIP-8279 at the top of its priorities. The former is intended to set a uniform 64-gas floor for a user-controlled transaction byte; the latter extends a similar billing to the Block Access List byte generated during implementation. According to the author of the proposal, the combination of the two adjustments would help to free up space for future increases in the gas ceiling.
Order of submission by 10 September
Hegotá is now placed in 2027, after Glamsterdam. Next, the executive client team is required to submit their respective functional sequencing by September 10, on which basis the developers will further screen which proposals deserve to be invested in realization and testing resources.
