Corporate disclosures indicate that Yvette will invest $1.5 billion in SB Energy. This company is associated with soft silver and OpenAI and is the developer of the OpenAI Large Data Centre project in Ohio, United States. As the trade moved forward, the role of Ingweida in the project went from the supply of equipment to financing support.

Lock OpenAI project supply

The announcement indicates that Inweida will be the sole computing infrastructure provider for the OpenAI data centre in Ports-Pike, near Cincinnati, Ohio. According to a document submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, British Wida will also provide up to $10.5 billion in credit for project construction.

The initial size of the data centre is 4.25 Giva, with subsequent expansion to 8 Giva. At this volume, the project will continue to drive high-performance computing equipment, servers and supporting infrastructure requirements.

Soft Silver and OpenAI are in stock

SB Energy is currently investing in soft silver and OpenAI. The report mentions that soft silver previously held $5.8 billion worth of British Weida shares and sold them last November to support other AI investment arrangements.

In terms of structure, this time it not only provided equity investment, but also participated more deeply in project construction through exclusive supply and substantial credit. This also means that it wants to target longer-term operations in the mega-AI data centre project.

Project support 9.2 Giwa Power Plant

SB Energy also plans to build a 9.2 Giwa gas power plant at the project site to provide power to the data centre. It is owned by the United States Department of Energy and historically used for uranium enrichment activities related to United States nuclear arsenals and naval submarines.

This power plant is expected to cost $33 billion. The report cites data that the cost of construction of gas plants has risen by 66 per cent over the past two years. As similar projects continue to move, parts of the United States may face more intense competition for natural gas in the future.

  • Young Wida invested $1.5 billion.
  • Top credit support US$ 105 billion
  • The data centre could be expanded from 4.25 to 8 giva

Additional information:The deal, which covered the equity, supply and credit components at the same time, showed that AI infrastructure competition had been extended from chip procurement to capacity-building in electricity, finance and whole stations.
