Fairphone began to sell the latest available mobile phone directly in the United States. This was the first time that the company had sold its own organic form locally and directly to consumers without modification, after it had sold a special version of the mobile phone in the United States, mainly through e/OS cooperation channels.
First direct access to the United States market
Support T-Mobile and AT&T when new machines are listed. The Chief Executive Officer of Fairphone, Raymond van Eck, stated that the equipment had been built from the very beginning of the design around the removability, repairability and long-term use, in the hope of extending the life of the product.
12 parts are self-replaceable
The core selling point for Fairphone 6+ remains serviceability. According to the company, 12 components, including batteries, cameras, USB-C interfaces and screens, could be replaced, and the user could have completed the dismantling with a screwdriver.
This cell phone provides a five-year warranty and software support commitment until 2033. Compared to most of the medium-end Androids, Fairphone places more emphasis on long-term life cycles than simply pursuing short-term hardware upgrades.
Medium-end configuration with sustainable manufacturing
Fairphone 6+Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, equipped with 12GB memory, battery capacity of 4415mAH, supports 30W Quick Filling, with 6.31 inches LTPO OLD screen, with maximum support for 120Hz self-adaptation rate.
For the image, the back-up is 50 million pixel Sony Sensor, with an additional 13 million pixel ultra-wide angle lens, with a forward camera of 32 million pixels. The company also stated that the carbon footprint could be reduced to 30 kg CO2 eq for each production of Fairphone 6+.
Additional information:The new machine provides three colours, Forest Green, Horizon Black and Cobalt Blue, with fittings, including ring buttons, straps and card clips, which the user can install on its own by removing them.
