Neko Health announced the opening of the first United States office in Soho, Manhattan, New York, on 24 September. This will be the starting point for this health-scan start-ups into the United States market.

According to the company, the alternate list for New York has exceeded 25,000. Neko Health was created by Daniel Ek, co-founder and CEO of Spotify, together with Hjalmar Nilsonne, who also serves as CEO of the company.

Scanning first landed in the United States

Neko Health's core product is body scanning technology. The results of the scans are combined with blood tests, fitness equipment and are used to assess the health status of individuals.

Currently, Neko Health has operations in the United Kingdom and Sweden. When the company completed the $700 million C round last month, it indicated that 100,000 people had been scanned.

The competitors are following up.

This type of health scanning company is increasing. Most of them were initiated by the founders of technology or received support from the wind.

Midjourney is also developing a body scanning product, planning to integrate the services into the hydrotherapy experience and to open a site in San Francisco in 2027. Function Health joined the body scanning service after acquiring Ezra.
