After obtaining local credit representation, Nexo Australia has introduced a digital asset-backed credit product in Australia. The company disclosed that eligible clients could apply for loans without selling a warehouse, and that funds could be released either in Australian dollars or in stable currency.

Minimum 0.9% borrowing rate

According to company disclosures, the Credit Lines product ranges from 0.9 per cent to 21.9 per cent per annum, depending on the customer grade and the product version selected. The product is not subject to a fixed period of time or a start-up fee to support flexible repayments. Nego states that the funds are usually available within 24 hours.

Clients can use Platform-supported digital assets as collateral. Nexo is also online, allowing users to replace eligible collateral assets without terminating existing credit lines in order to adjust the collateral structure in case of market fluctuations.

Integration into Australia ' s local compliance framework

The company disclosed that the business operated within the framework of Australia ' s National Consumer Credit Protection Act and incorporated the corresponding consumer protection requirements. Nexo Australia is a local registered entity and has completed registration with AUSTRAC of the Virtual Asset Service Providers and is a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.

Nexo stated that the applicable Australian regulatory requirements had been assessed before the product was online. Peter Stanhope, Managing Director of the company Australia, stated that the demand for financial services for more complete digital assets in the local market was rising and that companies had incorporated compliance and consumer protection elements at the product design stage.

Synchronize local product lines

In addition to mortgage credit, Nexi resumed supply of Nexi Groth products in Australia. The product is oriented towards eligible clients and supports some of the assets to obtain a maximum of 10 per cent of annualized returns, but the actual proceeds vary according to the type and duration of the asset. The flexible version is presented daily, while the periodic version provides a higher rate of return.

Nexo Booster has also been incorporated into local platforms to allow clients to expand their digital asset position and to continue to use the new position as collateral. At the same time, the Western Club membership system will provide lower interest rates for borrowing, return and other entitlements based on client platform activity.

Targeting local digital wealth needs

Nexo quoted company data stating that nearly one third of people in Australia already hold encrypted currency. The company also mentioned that in the first quarter of 2026, Australia ' s new commitments for individual term loans amounted to $9.8 billion, an increase of 14.5 per cent over the same period. Against this background, Nexi hopes to attract more local users with products that combine liquidity, income and digital asset management.

Additional information:According to the company, Nexo Group currently manages assets on a scale of over $7 billion and services in over 200 jurisdictions, and has cumulatively processed transactions of over $40.3 billion since its inception.
