Prem AI issued a continuing AI security audit tool for Bitcoin infrastructure, CyberScan. The company disclosed that the tool was used to supplement the day-to-day code review between formal security audits and that it could be updated with the code and scanned over time and that the results would be directly linked to the existing processes of the development team.
Testing has been opened to Bitcoin.
The company states that ArkLabs and Breez used CyberScan earlier during the testing phase and scanned the production code before the product went online. The key functions of CyberScan include maintaining a scanned state, continuing after interruption, and output with severity and structured results of document positioning.
Prem AI states that the tool is not a substitute for manual audit, but an additional layer of continuous code checks for the engineering team. The team can assign a code warehouse, which will be structured by a system map, check the path of potential attack and generate possible gaps for review.
Coldcard event pushes the product online
This announcement followed a major hardware wallet security incident this year. Prem AI quoted TRM Labs as saying that in the week of 30 July, the attackers had transferred more than $116 million bitcoin four times from more than 5,200 Coldcard hardware wallets.
According to the company, the root cause of the problem was an error in the return of the solids dating back to March 2021. The construction check that was intended to ensure that the wallet calls the hardware random number generator failed, resulting in the system being returned to a predictable software false random number generator. As a result, wallet assistive words could be re-established offline, an issue that had not been detected for many years in the open source repository ' s people ' s work.
Support API and development tool access
Prem AI states that in the two weeks following the above-mentioned incident, the company has provided services to more than 50 companies in the ecology, processing more than 10 billion tokens in total, most of them for safety research. According to the company, a total of three critical gaps were identified in the audits and the disclosures and repairs were completed in coordination with the relevant maintainers.
CyberScan currently supports access through API and Model Context Protocol (MCP), which can be used directly for GitHub code scanning alerts and problem management, reducing the number of steps to manually organize results from chat records. The team can also select a model by a single task.
Published in sync with CyberScan, there is also a version of DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731, which is aimed at security workflow optimization. According to the company, the weight of the model has been released at Hugging Face and can be called on a mission starting from the first day of CyberScan.
This week, we're on the test.
Prem AI states that the initial entry from the Bitcoin infrastructure was due to the high level of availability, high financial risk and prolonged pressure from attacks in this area. The company plans to follow up by extending CyberScan to a wider range of critical infrastructure scenarios such as financial technology and banking.
CyberScan is now on line this week in the form of a test version, using usage-based rates and providing initial amounts to new users.
