Bitcoin has grown significantly over the past two days, with prices approaching $72,000 at one time, rising to a high level since early June. The round was simultaneously driven by a fall in interest rates in the United States, the White House's promotion of encryption legislation and a return to empty concentration.
The return of the United States debt led to a rebound.
On Thursday, bitcoin grew by more than 5 per cent in the day and cumulatively by more than 11 per cent in the two days. Earlier this week, bitcoin was still trading in the vicinity of $63,000, which was then rapidly lifted.
Encryption-related shares are also synchronized. In pre-dating transactions, Coinbase and Circle increased by about 6 per cent, Strategy increased by more than 9 per cent, continuing the increase of the previous day.
This round rebound first appeared on Wednesday. At that time, there was a marked fall in the return on United States Treasury debt, a reduction in the pressure on risky assets and a re-flow of funds to the encrypted market. The increase was subsequently further amplified by large-scale empty silos.
According to CoinGlass, approximately $2.7 billion of the encrypted empty warehouse has been liquidated, pushing prices forward quickly in a short period of time.
The White House calls the executives.
On the same day, the White House convened a meeting of senior managers of encryption companies, including Coinbase, Kraken, Robinwood, Ripple and Chainlink. Before and after the meeting, the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission also launched the first meeting of the Innovation Advisory Committee.
Trump called on Congress to adopt a “fair” version of Clarity Act by the end of this year. This bill, which mainly concerns the regulatory arrangements for the encryption market structure in the United States, is seen by the market as one of the key pieces of legislation affecting industry expectations.
September 15 as a key point
At present, the main resistance to the advancement of the bill continues to come from bipartisan differences. The Democratic Party would like to add stricter ethical restrictions to prevent the President and other public officials from obtaining personal benefits from encrypted assets, while the Republican Party would oppose what it considered to be overly targeted or restrictive.
As the Senate failed to complete its vote before the August recess, and the parties still failed to agree on issues such as ethical provisions, some investors had previously seen the bill as a difficult topic to move forward in 2026.
The next key point of market concern was the first procedural vote in the Senate on September 15. If this does not pass, the space for the bill to continue this year may be significantly narrower. Although Bitcoin rebounded significantly this week, its price was still about 43 per cent below the high point of approximately $126,000 in October 2025.
