It was launched on August 20th by Binance Age OS and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, and began to open up controlled relationships, wallets, payments and trading capabilities to compatible AI applications. The new system is intended to integrate multiple interfaces into the same portal to facilitate the access of the AI client to the exchange function within the user's delegated authority.

Supporting line and transaction calls

According to François, Agent OS integrates Binance API, Wallet Agency Hub, x402, Skill Hub and MCP support. Among them, MCP Server acts as the interface layer between the AI client and currency.

The currently listed compatible applications include Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and VS Code. Open market data can be accessed without authentication and AI client can read information such as line information, order book, K line and fund rate; operations involving accounts must be separately authorized by the user.

Money transfer to main account restricted

In terms of trading functions, MCP Server supports spot, leverage, Convert, and two types of futures in currency. Currency indicates that users who meet the account and regional requirements can also use the capabilities associated with the USDS-M and COIN-M contracts.

However, AI agents cannot transfer encrypted assets to an external address through MCP Server, nor can they directly transfer the user ' s main account assets to a dedicated sub-account of Argentina. Users are required to create and fund the sub-account themselves, and transactions and internal transfers can only take place within the allocated funds and privileges.

Developer access via single endpoint

Currency indicates that developers and users can access the system through an open MCP endpoint, create and recapitalize the Agenic sub-account, and then grant permission for account-related operations. The sub-account may also choose to obtain a read-only view of the main account, but actual transactions and transfers are still limited to the Agenic environment.

The platform also incorporates x402 payment infrastructure to support payments and settlements initiated by software agents; and Skill Hub provides a modular functional catalogue that covers events such as transactions, wallets, market information and chain events. The schedule for the new applications and functions is not yet published.

Additional information:Previously, Coinbase had introduced a wallet capability with programmable control to allow AI agents to perform encrypted payments and transactions. The exchange is trying to be the executive level portal for AI applications.
