Goldman Sachs disclosed in the second quarter of 2026 that it only held approximately $86.5 million through XRP ETF. This means that the institution, which manages assets over $4 trillion in size, is back among the principal holders of the XRP ETF. In a previous document, Goldman Sachs had not declared its position.

The warehouse is concentrated in two funds.

Disclosures show that Goldman Sachs ' XRP ETF configurations are spread among five products, with Bitwise and Franklin having the highest share of products under the flag. The original text did not give a full split for each fund, but the total size was approximately $86.5 million.

This return was brought to the fore because Goldman Sachs had previously held approximately $153 million in related positions and had subsequently shown zero in the previous issue. The most recent disclosures meant that there had again been a significant change in its XRP ETF exposure.

It came back after last season.

Corporate disclosures indicate that the XRP ETF holdout, which was not declared by Goldman Sachs during the previous quarter, may be related to the repositioning of the fund after it became fully operational. At this stage, however, it can be confirmed that the relevant position has re-emerged in the second quarter document.

From a market point of view, the return of institutional silos took place at the same time as the recent increase in XRP prices, and the market was therefore more concerned about the re-flow of funds to the relevant products.

XRP Over 40% a week

The cumulative increase of XRP this week was over 40 per cent, and the price rose from close to $1 to about $1.37. SoSoValue data show that real-time United States XRP ETF recorded a net inflow of $13.24 million on August 20, indicating that additional funds were still available for related products.

In addition to ETF flows, Ripple, Clearpool and Cicada Credit recently announced a partnership to build an agency-oriented credit platform on XRP Ledger, targeting private credit for over $10 billion. This news also supports the expectation of the associated financial activity of XRPL.

Additional information:The original text also mentioned that the volume of XRP transactions had risen to over US$ 10.2 billion, an increase of 116.85 per cent over the previous period; the section dealing with RSI, support and resistance levels was a technical analysis judgement and the draft had not been carried out.
