The direction of BitMart ' s disposal changed. The company disclosed that the platform was looking at a reorganization as an alternative to a full closure and had engaged White & Case to provide legal support for the reorganization. However, the most interested cash withdrawal arrangements for users are still unclear and the platform has not declared a full recovery.

Platform shift to reorganization

BitMart recently indicated on platform X that, after communicating with users, stakeholders and consultants, a potential restructuring programme was being advanced as an alternative to a comprehensive clean-up. According to its formulation, if the programme is located, some services may be restored in stages and creditors may be allocated.

According to the company, the programme still requires legal, financial, operational and regulatory review. BitMart has engaged White & Case as a restructured legal adviser to assess with other consultants viable options and to assist in the development of a programme for the resumption of some operations.

The recovery is still pending.

Although the Platform proposed a direction for the reorganization, the bulletin did not indicate whether the withdrawal had been fully restored. BitMart simply indicated that the relevant road map was still under preparation and that more details were expected to be published around 9 September.

The focus of ongoing inquiries by users includes the current status of client assets, the availability of the platform ' s reserves, the movement of funds and when it will be possible to resume normal withdrawal of assets. These issues remain unanswered in the latest statements.

The cut-off schedule has not been withdrawn

BitMart had previously issued an orderly closure arrangement on 26 July, including the cessation of registration of new users and the suspension of deposits. To date, the plan has not been formally withdrawn and is still in parallel with the current reorganization discussions.

  • 26 August: deadline for retail users to submit cash withdrawal applications
  • Around 9 September: the Platform expects to disclose more details
  • 31 January 2027: Date of closure of platform under current plan

According to the Platform ' s current notice, retail users are still required to submit requests for the cashization of encrypted assets by 26 August 2026. If the successor arrangement remains unchanged, the final closure of the platform is set for 31 January 2027.
