The Government of Norway indicated that it plans to provide Ukraine with NOK 85 billion in fiscal year 2027, or approximately $9.2 billion in financial support, on the same scale as in 2026. At the time of the announcement, multinational Nordic and Baltic leaders were visiting Kiev to continue to express their support for the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The scale of aid is the same as last year.
According to the Norwegian Government ' s Sunday announcement, the funds will be used for military and humanitarian expenditures. In his speech, the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gal Støre, stated that support for and reconstruction of Ukraine was not only aid, but also a matter for Europe ' s own security.
